Kenya 2020 Mission

April 19-25, 2020

We are now taking applications for the 2020 mission to Amazing Grace, our orphanage in Kenya.

During the April 2020 mission, we will be doing a 4-day Vacation Bible School for the primary grade girls. We need volunteers for teaching, crafts, songs, games, snacks, photography, and "go-fers".

The Mission Team organizational meeting will be on Oct. 20, 2019 at 12:15 p.m.

Deadline for applications is Oct. 20, 2019.

Como

In April 2017, our serving outside the church expanded to include feeding at-risk children in the Como Community Center's after-school program. The Community Center is located in Fort Worth.

Volunteers meet monthly during the school year to organize food donations and pack bags of food for each child in the center. Extra bags are made when we know the child has other siblings at home who may also be in need.

We need your help during the school years to prepare food for our children in the Como community. Connect with Us to let us know what your availability is.

All during the school year, we are collecting specific food items for children served by Como Community Center who are at risk for weekend hunger.

Please donate these shelf-stable items:

  • Macaroni and cheese (in both boxes and cups)

  • Can of soup

  • Can of Ravioli (Chef Boyardee)

  • Can of franks and beans

  • Can of Spaghetti-os

  • Fruit cup or apple sauce

  • Box of cereal (full size)

  • Granola bars

  • Oatmeal packs

  • Can of tuna

Belize

WestAid

For over 25 years WestAid has been serving the residents of Fort Worth. Thousands of individuals receive food from WestAid each year.

WestAid works closely with the Tarrant Area Food Bank to serve the needs of the community.  All Saints' supports WestAid directly via food drives, volunteer support, and monetary donations.

Adopt-a-Family

In November of each year we work with local schools to identify needy families and supply Christmas gifts of clothes and toys.

You can sponsor a family, just go shop, wrap, or deliver, to support this amazing ministry!

Sandwich Ministry

The All Saints' Sandwich Making Ministry, or as we sometimes like to call it, the Saintwich Ministry, makes sandwiches -- about 1,000 of them -- each month during the school year for clients of the Presbyterian Night Shelter.

We will meet on selected Sunday afternoons at 3:00 p.m. in DeWolfe Hall.

Our Sandwich Ministry coordinator is Cinco Phillips.

This is a great ministry for your whole family and your friends. All are invited to join us. Wear clothing that you won't mind getting mustard on!

Holy Craft

Holy Craft is home for handwork for All Saints' parishioners

Meetings are held the third Saturday of each month.

in 2019, our longtime Prayer Shawl ministry has taken on a new dimension and a new name, Holy Craft! Yes, those who love to knit and crochet are still gathering to make Prayer Shawls. But as Holy Craft, the group now welcomes and invites creative crafters of every kind to join their monthly meeting for fellowship and handwork.

The group meets on the third Saturday of each month from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Gray House, where there is a comfortable room to accommodate everything from knitting to watercolors to beadwork.
